Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden (LGBG)

Richmond, Virginia

April 2010 (weather dependent)

Status

March 11, 2010: The Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden expects peak to be around the first week of April, but it is weather dependent. There are daffodils out now at the Garden!

Introduction

Come celebrate "The Million Blooms" from April 1 - June 6, 2010 which includes daffodils (sometime in early April) and other spring flowers.

The LGBG tells us that they do have a very large daffodil collection. They are planted throughout the garden, but the most concentrated areas are the Lucy Payne Minor Garden and the Flagler Perennial Garden.

In addition, the Virginia Daffodil Society Annual Show is at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden from April 3 - 4, 2010.
